Why Active Measures

An active measure is a purposeful action taken by an individual to realize an objective. When dealing with private investigation and personal security matters, this means taking calculated and proactive steps to increase the success rate of such operations that are focused on surveillance, safety, and security. There are many things to consider when dealing with such planning. For instance:

Home & Business Surveillance monitoring: By conducting what is known as a Threat Vulnerability Assessment (TVA) of your property, you can see what areas are most likely to be at risk of intrusion or otherwise unwanted behavior. Start by sketching a floor plan of your property and dentifying all intrusion points. At this point it should be apparent which locations should be monitored. Bottom floor doors and windows are the most obvious. But does that mean place a camera on every location? No. Why buy eight cameras when four will do? Carefully plan how to maximize your security without breaking the wallet by placing a good security camera on each corner that can monitor more than one access point. This is just one way to maximize home and business security for the better. Other options include hidden cameras or sound recorders. All offered inside our store.

Personal Property Surveillance: Each state has its own set of rules on conducting surveillance on your own property. Most states allow for the “one party rule” which allows for the recording of a conversation so long as one party of the conversation is aware it is being recorded. Other states require the entire group of the conversation to have knowledge. Regardless, our sound recorders are great for either occasion so long as the device is being used in accordance with the law of the state which it is being used. Likewise, GPS trackers are on every vehicle already, but you can secure your own GPS tracker to a vehicle you own. Be careful though, if your wife or husband is co-signed on the vehicle, your state may require them to know of the tracker. Again, check local laws to see if our GPS solutions are right for you!

Audio & Visual Countersurveillance: Is that ringing in your neighborhood driving you crazy? Maybe you just want to varify that there are no recording devices in your house? Can you really put a price on this level of peace of mind? Regardless, our countersurveillance solutions are very affordable and convienient for conducting radio-frequency scanning to detect audio surveillance active inside your home. Also, use our hidden camera detectors to provide the ultimate peace of mind, either at home, or even in the dressing room at the mall. There are no limits with these convenient systems in your back pocket.
